Opioids are a class of drugs with a high potential for abuse. Heroin, fentanyl, and prescription pain relievers like oxycodone all belong to the opioid drug class. While opioids are safe when taken as prescribed and for a short amount of time, these drugs are known to be highly addictive. According to The National Institute
